I am convinced that they are the easiest snakes to breed. I'd almost believe you could house them in separate tanks across the room from each other and somehow the female would have a litter of babies on the way, via air-borne sperm! I stopped breeding them a few years ago, because I couldn't give the babies away. I let albinos go for next to nothing.
Tim your snakes are 6 weeks to 2 months behind mine they will come of that I am sure..Randal I think atrox and copperheads are just as easy and a few others. Now those protos are the tricky ones you dog..LOL.

Randal bushmasters are supposed to be hard as well but All Ryan did was put them togather and they bred right off and then the dog hatched all the eggs.I agree these are the easyest to breed for an exotic venomous snake that I know of .I know that now but I went through all the trouble of cycling them and I never needed to I know now.Now the rozes I think were a bit more tricky and needed the cycling before they went for it.Those babies should be born as well soon. These are the first exotic vipers I have produced so to me it is a big deal.I on the other hand I have bred several other species that were harder. The babies are hard to find good homes for but I will come june I would bet.I will no longer house them togather tho.I was trying to prove out a group of possible hets no albinos yet so I think no hets .It was a fun adventure and a sure way to get some one hooked on breeding. The main problem as you know all to well is these are a psycho viper not well suited for the new keeper as a tag can be in the blink of the eye.It was fun tho.

I didn't know that Ryan bred Bushmasters! I thought he got babies out of Costa Rica. I bred Bushmasters twice,, about 14 years ago, it was pretty simple, it's all about timing the males, not, the females, as some would believe.
2 years ago stenophreys then all the adults died one was a female on loan from gladys porter. It was sad to see them die quickly like that. The rest he did import from costarica like the black headed babies.I see them every few weeks and just dream. But who has 10000 to spare on a pr.These are the best ones I have ever scene f2 babies with exact down to the latatude and longatude on the parents from quetzal of course. All the babies lived tho.I think Matt H has a couple of them.

The rozes started breeding on aug 26th I just checked my records and kept breeding through dec.One thing I did notice the last week I had them is it looked like they were still breeding but the male was hitting full force but there was no more penatration. He was masterbateing on her as best as I could tell.By april you will see the results for sure.....The slenders bred in june

ah,hahahahahahahaha! I agree!
Snake masturbation? Be the first to write a paper on it Archie!
Ok guys laugh at me but I wrote you a couple of times asking if a gravid female would breed Randal you said no.So I started watching them ,slenders and rozes both would lay with the male and it would look like true breeding but there was no penatrasion,I thought this was odd and have pictures of it but it proves nothing. What I thought odd was the fact the females let them mount them for this behavior almost every day months after she was gravid. To much information no I think it is really interesting .With this information I have heavaly invested in snake porn shops as well as teaching the females pole danceing. In the future I think the snake porn industry should take off and I am accepting investment partners at 1,000,000 each I assume your checks will be in the mail no later than today.Tho I will reserve the rights to all copyrights to all videos you will get a minimal return for your money.LOL

Archie, I never said a gravid female (now there's an oxymoron) wouldn't breed.
