Hi Archie
Thank you and Dennis for the nice complements on my animals. Actually These animals are not alverezi crosses they are H.h.horridum. I am guessing by the lack of tail banding and reduced pattern they are a southern form. It des say in becks book "The Biology of Gila Monsters and Beaded Lizards" That H.h.horridum and H.h.alverezi seem to intergrade in eastern Oaxaca. Over the years I have bred siblings together to get the pattern to reduce more.
Take care
Steve
Steve I read a couple of pages back that you do have some alverezi crosses. Are these as dark as those.A friend of mine is supposed to get some pure alverezi from Quetzal in costa rica this year if he produces them expensive but very nice.
