I've got a pair of beadeds which appear by all counts to be a true male/female pair. Both are robust and hearty.
The one I believe is a female has been fasting for a couple of months now. In fact tonight she refused to eat. I offered the leftovers to the "male" who gobbled them down.
Do Beadeds tend to fast when they have eggs developing?
Love to hear some opinions.
