Dune Geckos???

sorazme Feb 16, 2010 08:17 PM

I recently bought 2 dune geckos, both about the size of your pinky. The person i bought them from said they grew up together and never fought, but he thought they were both males. I could use some info on care and breeding conditions, thx.

*Also, both have very different color pattern. One is light the other is alot darker.

There seem to be at least two color phases to these little geckos, and chances are, you managed to snag one of each "color.

And, yes, they are communal animals, and given proper care, will happily co-exist with each other without problems regardless of gender or relative size. I've heard of people keeping breeding colonies of over a dozen of these little guys in an (appropriately sized) enclosure with no problems.
