Breeding Chucks

preno Feb 18, 2010 11:44 PM

My WC female is starting to get REALLY fat real quick, and she is eating way more than she normally does. I think she is starting to develop eggs. At what point does she need male interaction? or am I too late?

Anyone in southern Nevada that has a male that wants to breed and help me out?

If she is developing infertile eggs, you are too late. Chucks begin to bulk up and chow down in Spring in preparation for breeding. Perhaps she is just getting plump enjoying the food you are giving her. Fertile eggs happen only after copulation.
