My iguana is in trouble and my herp vet isn't open until tomorrow morning.

I went away for the weekend and somehow my iguana got out of his locked enclosure. There was someone feeding him daily but they dont remember if they saw him.

Im not sure how long he was out - I found him behind a bookcase on a tile floor. He is very cold and want responding. I gave him a warm bath and he cant move his front legs - they just seem to be twitching.

My fear is that the cold has shut down his immune system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please - I am scared an dont know if he can wait till morning.

How is your iguana?

I had a Colombian tegu that reacted poorly to too cold night temps once. She had similar symptoms, but was fine a couple of days later.

You do want to be careful about warming them too quickly.
