Mixing Venomous/Non venomous

lizardking666 Feb 22, 2010 01:57 AM

Did anyone watch Venom in Vegas on Animal Planet a couple weeks ago? It was pretty interesting watching all those snakes cohabitate for that long, especially venomous snakes with non venomous. I've always wondered if it was possibly the fact that snakes can't tell the difference between their species and anothers or the possibility that they just don't care.

I saw it, it seemed they didn't care about each other. I do think they were influenced by the movement of people and flashing lights on the outside, they had enough to watch and make them behave differently without worring about another snake in the room. Still it was pretty cool to see them hang out together.

Many years ago, I stopped at a country store just off I-16 in Georgia. The owner of the store had a ball python in a cage with a pair of EDBs. I thought that was very odd but it seemed to work. Everything looked fat and healthy. I've never mixed venomous and non-venomous myself, though.
