I have been told that Selayers are a dwarf and have been told that they will get big. What are the typicals sizes you guys/gals are seeing out of the Selayers?

In captivity the largest animals I've seen are Greg Bryant's (the retic ranch) his around around 10ft. Jampea's have reached up and over 15ft, I would call selayers dwarfs.

My adult breeder Selayers are only in the 10 foot range and they have produced for me the past 3 three years (so these are not yound adults). My 08 and 09 holdbacks are still small animals that grow very slowly even with heavy feeding. The largest "Selayer" I have seen pics of was a 15-16 foot animal that even the owner was uncertain of the locale. I own several Selayers of various ages (22 in all counting this years babies) and I would say yes, they are a dwarf locale.

How are your Selayars' personalities?

This one that I have is just as calm as can be. Hope it stays that way.

Thanks guys!!!

Talked to one of Bob Clarks guys the other day. They said they are medium sized Tics. I'm pretty sure mine is a male, so size won't be an issue with him. Just wish he would eat for me, he has shed and pooped but still won't eat.

Little Selayer ate today, WOOHOO!!!.

It took a small chick and a chick scented fuzzy rat. Will give it a week and try again, would like to get it on just rats real soon. Chicks cost too much around here.
