Just wanted to know for fun I guess, whats the fastest anyone has seen a Crocodilian go from hatchling to sexual maturity.

We can get 4ft out of a Nile if we keep them warm through the winter. They can grow faster than that but thats about the best we have done here.

When we keep them outside we get 2-3 ft per year although I doubt we'll see that this year as we have lost 3 months of growth with this ridiculous winter.

Usually I have fed the Niles quite a few times in Jan/Feb but this year once- yesterday.

With gators the best I have done is 3 1/2 in 1 year but only with the help of mazuri diat. Indoors with warm temps.

3.5ft & 4ft in a year is pretty good ... pretty sure thats what the skin farms arent doing much better than that.

If only palpebrosus & osteolaemus would grow at this rate

Yeah farms shoot for 4' in a year, no way could they make money with a foot a year.
