This would be the 4th dog attack in the central fl. area that I am aware of (not counting the ones involving human fatalities.) It is the 3rd one involving a dog(s) out running loose. I didn't notice any reports about attacks python occurring in the area yesterday or today perhaps I'm not looking hard enough.
As I have said before I am not anti dog at all not only do I love dogs but I inherently distrust people who don't like dogs.
The fact still remains they are way more dangerous than large boids and the evidence keeps piling up.

Too bad everybody looks the other way when it comes to mammals. Dogs are cute and fuzzy so it is o.k. Stuff the dog attack statistics for a given area in someones face against snake attacks as argument and it won't even be considered. They would maybe consider it if their mother was attacked by a pair of dogs running loose or.. watching their freind get his face rearranged by a loose dog coming into the yard. (Personal experiences. I still like dogs.)
