I have a female boa that was always tame but now she is turning . She is possibly gravid is that why?

Yes, it could be because she is gravid, though in that aspect there is a good deal of individuality. My female boa didn't get aggressive until parturition.

Other reasons of unexplained aggression can be stress or pain so just keep an eye on her.

no my cages are very secure ive been a reptile hobbiest and never had one escape . i guess ive been lucky
