Here's how I keep them...

I prefer long low cages for them so that they have more horizontal space to spread out in.

I keep the temperatures more even (low 80's)throughout the cage than I do for adults because their small bodies overheat and dehydrate more easily than adults....and it gives them more space to get into the UVB light.

Some of them will eat right away and others take a couple of days.

Be careful when you mist them that the water doesn't form big beads or pools...they can aspirate it when trying to drink sometimes.

Good luck with them!

thank you very much that helps out. i have about 14 now in the cage. as of observing them i really havent seen them eat, but they do drink... i was using the repti glo 5.0 but switched over to the powersun 100 watt... seems like they like the powersun more because they arent dark... but you said i should keep the temp low cause they get dehydrated quickly... i live in san diego ca, so the weather here is perfect, so i dont know what to do???, ill take a picture so you can see what my setup looks like... thanks again...

Hopefully they will eat soon. Are you using pinhead crickets/fruitflies to feed them?

I use a double fluorescent hood and put a Repti-sun 5.0 UVB tube in one side and a regular fluorescent tube in the other side and when positioned on top of the cages or suspended a couple of inches above the temperature in the cages shown in the website I posted sit at about 80F. (I live in Canada though, so it will depend on the temperature in your house...mine is at about 74F during the day.

I assume this is a panther chameleon...

You said..."she just laid her second clutch of eggs 2 months ago and she looks healthy, she is eatting and drinking regularly... the only thing is that it seems like she is sleeping a lot???"...is she sitting high or low in the cage? How large was the last clutch?

You said..."im using the powersun 100w... thats the only light i am using"...what supplements (specifically) are you using and how often for each?

You said..."she looks fat"...did she look thin after laying the last clutch?
