What happens when you breed a purple albino to a suntiger 100% het purple albino? A purple albino to a tiger 100% het purple?

Purple X Tiger het purple:

1/4 Albino Tiger, 1/4 Tiger het, 1/4 Albino, 1/4 het albino

The extra incomplete dominate gene (sunfire) really makes for an interesting combo of babies doesn't it.

Purple albinos are clark strain albinos. Meaning in any clutch you can get white phase, lavender albino, and purple albinos. "Het purples" are realy clark strain hets. No way to guarentee which of the three colors you will get. It will be a mixed bag.

Although i haven`t yet produced the clark strain albino`s, I have been told the color phase is tightly linked with the albino gene and that purple acts as incomplete dominate (in terms of albinos) with lavender being the heterozygous form. Although it isn`t 100% correlated, the outcomes should be pretty close to the pridictions of this. The origional male Clark had was lavender, and that explains why the line breeding of lavenderXlavender produced the mixed bag.

If anyone wants to share breeding data that will refute/support this, I would be happy to see the data.

Ok. To clarify the breeding pairing. The purple albino male would be bred to a suntiger female. The female offspring would then be bred back to the purple albino male. If that helps with the work up of the genetics. I can figure out some of the simpler stuff, but the patterning and color phase is a little bit much for me at this time on this breeding. Not something I am working on currently, but am planning for the future provided the politicians don't screw us over on the big guys.
