Exotic lizard for outdoor enclosure?

jasonw Feb 28, 2010 06:26 PM

Hey everyone remember me? Long time no post. Anyway I live in the foothills of N. California, below the snow line at about 200' about an hour south of Sacramento. I Purchased a house with a nice bit or property on 2008. We have an urban farm and while trying to find out what to do with one hill side I thought some lizard enclosures would be awesome. I was hoping for something on the exotic side. Any ideas?

They are a little price and hard to find but sun gazers would be perfect for your climate, they can endure your winters, but you enclosures must allow them to dig. They generally dig a borrow three feet or so deep and will overwinter within. They are very active and engaging lizards.
