Hi everyone

I have 2 JCPs. Long Story short: thought I had 2 girls, guess not! I observed a lock-up this morning, much to my surprise. Yeah, that one took about a quadruple take.

I know, I feel pretty bad about making this error, but I am happy to say both of my snakes are in amazing condition(good overall condition, good shape, perfect sheds).

The one who is for sure female(had her sexed before and after purchase by two different people so that leaves the other one as a male) is the smaller of the two. She is about 5ft, 5ft+ but under 6. I have had her since 06(she was already just under 2 ft long and eating fuzzy mice), and she eats medium rats now like a machine...is she too small? Should I be really worried? My friend breeds rabbits and she eats fuzzy rabbits two in a row. I do not know how much she weighs, but is noticably smaller than the male.

I have always wanted to breed, which is why i was raising these two "females". Oops! I am prepared to incubate and learn even more about the subject, and was hoping to ask some questions to any breeders on here.

I am never taking somebody's word for a sexing ever again...!

Hey, It's happened to the best of us. I had a pair of corn snakes breed when I thought they were both females. Ooops.
