ok, ive got a full grown female blood python. i have never bred her before and im really thinking about it.i was wanting to know when is the breeding season for them? i have heard that it is from November to March, is that right? thanks for the help.

This was my second year breeding bloods and my female is gravid this year and she laid lastyear aswell so I am no expert by any means. but i cycle mine together, not sure how others do it and I start changing their light cycles and temps second week in November and I raise it back up in early February. and usually get an ovulation at the end of February, that's just what works for me, everyone their own method and hopefully some people will share what works for them.

Yes! that is the breeding period people have had the most success with. I've also had a clutch be produced during a breeding that took place during the warmed months. Weird but it does and can happen. -A
