Crossing species question..

SouthernSerpent Mar 16, 2010 11:10 PM

Ok. I have heard of people crossing burms and tics, coastals and irian jayas, angolans and balls, but a ball to jcp cross...Who and why would you want to do something like that? This species obviously would never meet in the wild as perhaps some others never would. This was one crossing that completely baffled me. Anyone else have any observations or comments on this?

people do it for the same reason they mix different breeds of dogs they are trying to breed a better more domesticated python with the traits that they desire. the morality behind it is of course questionable but the reality is if a jungle carpet and a ball python want to be together who are we to stand in their way? lol
