Hey Archie
I've only been to Big Joshua creek a few times. It is a really fine creek. I've never seen or heard of any wild populations of gators in this area. I know people in Junction who have ranches on the LLano river and they have never mentioned any gators.
As you know this place is super recreational if there were gators I can't believe they could hide for long. D.C.

We saw the one it was basking on shore it was about 4 foot long.I know that they are also found around sanantonio every now and then.Texas lists a breeding population of 120 counties and states that the population has been moveing on a westerly trend for about 30 years up the river systems.I also read that the population moveing west is by far a smaller animal than the coastal estuary gators.I was in cameron texas at the little river and talked to a game warden there that said that there was a healthy pop of gators there. Not a soul in the cafe believed him he swore he had the exact local of the pop and they said he was crazy.
