Possibly gravid Aspera

Rkeil8 Mar 22, 2010 04:12 PM

I have two female viper boas that i currently believe to be gravid one that I have has not eaten in 6 months yet she gets increasingly larger and sticks to a warmer spot than the other boas. My second i have seen courtship between her and a very large male as well as she is in the hottest possible place in the tank right on top of the heat mat she has started to refuse food for the last 4 months and also is gaining some size but less noticable. i would like to post some pics but i have no idea how so any one who knows how that would be awesome

Congratulations! Would love to see pics.

I am no expert at this, but one way to post photos here is to create a photo gallery and post from there. I presume there are other ways, but I haven't gone over them.

Go up to the top of this page to "Photos" and follow instructions. Pics have to be no larger than 450Kb, and physically quite small (I think it's 800 pixels wide by 1000 pixels high), so adjust your photos first or it'll be a waste of time.

Once you have created a photo gallery, your photo titles will show up below your next post(in "Select images from Photo Gallery". So you write your post, then before you click "Post Message" you simply click on the photo(s) you want to add. I think you are limited to three photos per post.

I'm not good at this stuff, so if I can manage it I am sure you can, but it is a bit laborious, so do it when you have some time to spend.

Congrats - I am no expert (See my thread on whether Thomasina the C.b.bibroni is gravid or not) but they sure do look bulgy!
