While I am all for the push to talk about this, and educate folks about these laws and things, so we can still have a burms & a burm forum...you do have a point.
It's is nice to have something upbeat added once in a while

That is a wicked photo!

Thanks, that's my larger (around 9') male, Monty. (I know, a real un-original name for him) Here is a photo of him at home hiding in his XXXXXXL hide made out of one of these thingies - http://www.artificialrocksfactory.com/fake_rock_covers.htm.

And here is my little guy, Kaa.

Wow, tons of pink/red on her head.. I mean that is red.. Should call that a 'coral' burm. Very nice....
My lil girl has pink, but its not coral.. How old and what size is that one.. Thanks

Thanks. He is about 9' long, and around 2 years old.

Wow, I love that coral around his face.. My guy has a pink head like that, just not coral.. Let me ask you, did your animal grow into that color? What can I expect with my animal. My albino is 5 1/2ft.. Little sorry behind her, I got her last week(Thursday). She was purchased locally, even though I paid for her, I almost consider her a rescue.. She was dehydrated, and had old skin on her. And her scales were rough, can only assume that someone peeled off her shedding. And plus she is thin. Well I fed her 2 rats on Friday(last week). On Tuesday I fed her a small guinea pig, and yesterday she ate another small guinea pig.. Hoping to put some size on her. I have no idea how old she is.. I think she is either an 08 animal or an 07 animal. Im not sure. The guy I got her from only had her for 2 weeks and has no idea.
Im really interested in some input on the coloring of the face... I havent seen any as coralized as yours. Here are some more pics of my girl.. I think I lucked out with her. She is very pretty and colorful IMO. I really like the bright yellow on high white. From the pics, you can tell she is very skinny.. Hopefully she will gain some weight and size soon.
I came across these when I was searching for something and I thought they were really awesome. I have not seen them in the U.S. Are they here yet, and if not, do you think they will work their way over here? This is a leucistic burm.

John with Jenny the leucistic Burmese Python
Fascinating markings. I am surprised that's called a leucistic. Almost looks more like a pied or something like that with those dark speckles. Does anyone know more about this color/morph, or could this be a non genetic "one of a kind" sort of thing ?
Oh my god I want one.
There was a lucy burm on sale here at kingsnake not that long ago. If you had 1
$15000 laying around it could have been yours. I thought that snake was solid white without all of the pepper markings.

I found those pics awhile back and posted on here asking about it, a few people told me that it is a form of lucy like when you see a lucy gator they will have some black splotches. I'm not all sure about that but either way. I remember something about it being a wild caught and steve irwin not wanting it to be reproduced. I know that they are breeding burms at the aussie zoo tho. I really wish we could get that morph in the U.S. Somebody needs to send in Tom Cruise mission imposible style to hang from a wire and steel some snake sperm or something lol
The color on your females head looks similar to the intensity of the pink of my 11' female. I'll have to get some photos of her sometime. I acquired both of them as "adults", so he has not changed much in the time I have had him, if anything the intensity of the color might have faded a little from then. He is a really, REALLY picky eater, (refuses frozen thawed completely, sometimes kills and constricts live, and then leaves them, eats off and on, no real rhyme or reason it seems sometimes) so he has not grown much.
In my experience the bright colors these snakes have when young seem to fade out as the age. I have not seen another with quite as much pink as Monty in person. As you can see, its limited to his face & upper "neck", and he is rather "normal" yellow/white everywhere else.
Your female has nice contrast with pretty light white/light looking sides. Very pretty.

The reason this python looks like it does is that it is close to a PURE Python m. molurus as I've ever seen. That is why it looks like it does..Here are pics of PURE Indians I have here. See the pink head and that makes for a very pink head....thanks

Me, too!
Here's another albino photo. Nothing fancy or special, just a decent lookin' albino. This one isn't mine; its one that I took care of for a year while his daddy went overseas.

Have a good one!

Due to political correctness run amuck,
this ol' hillbilly is now referred to as an:
Appalachian American
Very nice. I really like the little white "arrow" on his snout.
