My new Ig cage I built

varanus1980 Mar 31, 2010 05:45 PM

The cage isn't complete, i'm currently waiting on the glass doors i ordered to come in as well as some hinges for the storage space doors. But while i wait i decided to set it up and use it as a day cage for my lil guy while someone is home, and in turn it has increased my igs social behavior 10 fold,. By being open like that we make a habit of walking by the cage and petting him throughout the day and he's gone from trying to whip to now curious about about my family and enjoys the occasional scratch on the neck lol. The cage measures 6'Tx4'Wx2'D anyway enjoy!

nice. Could you please tell me where you got the mounts and fixture for the flourescent tubes? Thank you.

Joey, honestly i can't remember the name of the brand for those light fixtures but i think the petstore in town still carries them, i'll look up the name next time i go in. Yea i love those light fixtures, they are so handy and to keep them low profile instead of having a huge bulky striplight fixture, a diamond in the rough kind of a find lol
