I have a couple of females and an old male who probably is too old to produce. I had a young male but he suddenly went down hill.

Do many more exist in the states? I'm not familiar with Mexican law, but aren't reptiles protected from collection in Mexico? Is that why there are so few? Or just lack of interest?

Some breed/work with them. BrockNelson I think has cut way back. Steve Boszik from Hardcore herps still works with them. They are stunning collareds, one day I may purchase a pair ( Some day) lol.
They are quite expensive when someone decides to sell any. Sometimes in the 350.00 a piece price range.
