A few years ago, I worked for a pet store that bred birds. They sent blood samples away for DNA sexing. Are there any labs that will do that for reptiles? I’ve found several sites online that do birds and dogs.

If they do birds they should be able to do reptiles (closely related).

Another option is ultrasound of course, the small companies that have a mobile tech that does home studies is a good candidate to sex heloderma at a low cost.

I have a mobile tech here in MI who will sex them for a few bucks, the mobile techs take the machine home with them after work.
