Is it o.k. to use organic sphagnum peat moss in place of the block of ecoearth(i think that is what it is called) for a pac or pixie substrate? I use that compressed block but it is getting expensive due to the amounts of pacs I have and frequent cleaning. I picked up a bale of peat moss at the grain store and was wondering if it was safe before I go ahead and use it.

i would not use any kind of moss at all it can cause lots of problems if the pac man should ingest it impaction/ death even. i would stick with only eco earth
