She's done it!

Hi All,

Awesome news, my female chuck,Alabama, has finally laid 7 eggs this morning after a nailbiting vigil! She is alive and well and looking like an empty sack of potatoes The eggs all seem fine with a couple showing slight dimpling but one is very small and yellow. I have stuck it in the incubator anyway to see what happens.I am so relieved. She laid 3 underneath the slab and then seems to have dragged herself out into the viv and laid the remaining 4 on the sand.

Huge thanks to Maureen, Nick and mlove for their invauable advice through this most stressful time.

Cheers,

Ben

Congrats to you and Alabama. She is a truly beautiful Chuck! And she knows what she is doing, obviously. So glad she got them all out of her. The yellow one is probably a dud. Don't leave it in there, or separate it into its own eggbox.

Keep us all posted! Hooray!!
