Hi guys
Just a quick question.
Does a blood python, or any snake, ovulate before or after breeding?

Yhanks

From what I understand....... The female ovulates after the males sperm has been deposited.Follicles, mature or not,are released from the females ovary, passing through the ostium, where the sperm lie waiting for the ova to pass.Once fertilized, the eggs move caudally to be shelled.
