Pray Item Nutrition

zach_whitman Apr 22, 2010 12:20 AM

So I recently had a hard drive crash and I lost most of the PDF files I have ever saved. I remember having a very good study that documented the nutritional content of common prey species fed to zoo animals. I have tried searching for it and can't seem to come across it.

Anyone know what I am talking about and can point me in the right direction?

Does the AZA have a web site? I'm sure they do! Try that!

google "Nutrient Composition of Whole Vertebrate Prey"

there are several variations that will come up, sort thru and pick one you like.
