Western painted question

daneby Apr 23, 2010 12:34 PM

How cold is too cold for westerns? I'm planning on setting my 2 up in a pond in my back yard for the warm months, but I worry about the night temps.

Thanks,
Dan Eby

During the warm months, night temperatures will never be too cold for them. Just make sure that they can get plenty of both sun and shade during the day, as they choose. They will get themselves warm if they have a place to bask.
