Long-tailed grass lizards -- parasites?

Esther Apr 25, 2010 03:56 PM

I want to get a pair of long-tailed grass lizards to put in with my 2 female green anoles. I will quarantine the grass lizards for a month or two before adding them. I will treat the quarantine tank with Pro-venta-mite to kill any external parasites on the grass lizards, but how should I clean up any internal parasites they may have brought over from their native country? I don't want to infect my 2 healthy female anoles.

Thank you.

I would have a vet run a check on a fresh stool sample first while they're in quarantine. No sense treating unless needed.
