OK, got the long tailed grass lizards...

Esther May 02, 2010 10:14 PM

I sprayed a double layer of paper towel thoroughly with Provent-a-Mite and allowed it to dry. I put the long tailed grass lizards in, with a plastic plant, water bowl, and tiny cup with 2 waxworms in it. I know that any prey animal that touches the paper towel will die.

What else can I do to make sure these guys aren't carrying anything which could ultimately harm the 2 female green anoles I want to house them with?

A friend of mine has a few . I think they drink water from mistings .

She never treated them for mites just bought them at pet store and set them up in 20 gallon tall tank.
