I was wondering if anyone has any solid, helpful info on the rearing and breeding of sandfish skinks. Any info in general would be helpful, they are one of the few animals worth getting here.

Another question would be: are they common/easy to get in the US?

They are sold here all yr round and most pet stores can get them.

Some are being sold now in classified section.

Pet store I go to carries them here and there they house them in a plastic bin about 30 inches long and 24 inches wide with few inches of sand and hot basking area on one side.

They mist daily a piece of flat wood in the bin. I have no idea if this is correct way to keep them as never had any but they seem to thrive in this set up.

Thanks for the info. But I'm not sure if the Middle East(where they live) naturally gets that much moisture. I honestly get way too many different opinions to know which is correct.
