Amazon tree boa genetics

madusa May 04, 2010 07:12 PM

I have read in a few places that Amazon tree boas have weird genetics. From what I have read is that the keeper can breed two identical specimens and produce babies that look nothing like the adults. Any help would be appreciated.

The genetics for the ATB's are pretty much still a mystery. There are some folks over at www.amazon-alliance.com that are trying to establish a database/registry of breeders so they can figure things out. If you haven't been there yet, check it out and look at the photo section. Incredible animals and photo's.
