There are a number of facilities, and private keepers, who are working with this fantastic species. We currently have one at our place and I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Hi,

at first thanks for your answer.
The most i´m interested for, are the climatic conditions to keep this wunderful snake. The science don´t know a lot about this species. Only that they live in the highland of Ethiopian in forested areas. Is it right?

So i´m looking for some breeders of Bitis parviocula where i can get some babys. ´Cause i'm really fascinated of all Bitis species, especially of parviocula.

I hope you can help me further and my English is good enough to understand it easy.

Thanks, Alex

I'm also looking to pick up a pair of babies. A friend of mine was the one to orginally import them and won't have any babies available this year, most likely next.

Stan? Because he originally imported them back in 2005
I had 4 at my house, then they were in the possession by Molt. Who later sold them.

John, Are you talking abt Al, Joe and Peter who brought them in last time? What makes you think they will breed them next year? The one's that were brought in were already gravid and dropped.

Finally no one seems to get some babys of this beautiful snake.

But maybe "Viperkeeper" from youtube.com breed this species. but i can´t find contact details....

Al is who Randal is talking about who had imported a gravid female.I do not know who has bred them yet,he might have he is viper keeper.I like those over priced green puff adders but they are very pricy to say the least.

rob,

isn't that the same Bitis parvicula that was stolen, sold to you're facility that you refused to return to its owner?

Get your facts straight and don't be accusatory without them.

1) The evidence surrounding the Parviocula you refer to was circumstantial and lacking any hard evidence like: Photo, DNA, Microchip. I was the one who alerted the person in the first place, then went on to contact the Sheriff's department was contacted, investigated and dropped, no evidence to support the snake was stolen property. Therefore is was deemed a legitimate transaction and no one had to return anything.

2) Rob is refering to one of my adults on loan to him and his facility.

3) There is quite a long wait list for babies, any I produce in the next few years (if lucky to do so) are spoken for.
