I orderd two WC chucks a week ago,i had requesed two females, as i was hopeing to get a granit or red back male later this summer(anyone know when/if that might be?) one came quite thin but they have been pounding the spring mix and other veg esp grated carrots the last few days, and are looking a lot better now,

but iam confused about there sex, one is drab with a bit of black speckles on the back and looks female, but the other has dark grey head and legs with a cream back, but when i felt its stomach i could feel two lumps on the lower middle side and one on the lower left, could she be a colorful gravid female or am i feeling something else??

thanks, dos she look full grown? is there anyway to tell what type she may be or what the males from NV, as a WC iam assumeing thats were they are from?,generaly look like?

She is an adult, but may still have some growing to do. The females are hard to guess, as far as area of origin. Sorry, maybe someone else can draw a bead on location.

finaly got a new battery for my scale and got to weigh these two chucks:

the one pictured in this thread is 11" or a bit less and 122gs

the other one wich i thought was smaller and thinner came out at about 12" and 142g

it was hard to get there length as they kept puffing up and bending there tails, what kind of weight should they be at? they are both eating very well now anything i put in the cage and are more active,
