The End is near?

kulkat May 13, 2010 04:34 PM

I've owned Bubba for 7 or 8 years now. Its been so long. Very loving frog if I do say so myself. He has a mate named Bubbette, got her about 6 mos. after him. She is still bright green, eats great, (when I feed her by hand cause I think she is going blind)
Bubba on the other hand, has not eaten a thing in over a month. He is drastically getting skinnier yet he still manages to get from the side of the tank (where he sleeps) to the water dish. He started 2-3 mos. ago by just eating one cricket and looking like he was having trouble swallowing. He would not eat more than one cricket. Now he refuses any food, crickets, (big or tiny), waxworms or earthworms. I am assuming its his time soon?

Sorry to hear about your problems. White's treefrogs can live over 25 years. I have taken care of a specimen that died at 27 years.
