Hello,

Thinking about getting a pair. What should I expect to pay for hatchlings? \Northerns, concentric, ornates or whatever is normally avaliable?

Northerns/concentric run $50-70 each.

You can find plenty of vendors in classified section. Ornates/texans,mangrove & others can cost more.

I think I'd like to get a concentric - love the white/light heads

Now just have to wait for everyones egg to hatch!

any advise on rearing them? I've done the homework - fresh water set ups - what the best diet?

They are easy to care for. I feed all my turtles a varied diet of different pellets,invertebrates both live & freeze dried ie mealworms,krill,worms,shrimp,etc.,
