Hi I was wondering if any one could help me ID a toad. I'm in South East FL... I'm a bit worried it's a Cane Toad (Small dog enjoys pulling them out from under a propane tank)

That is exactly what it is. Anaxyrus marinus, the marine toad, or cane toad.
I've posted one of your pics here, so no one else has to go to your site to see it:

Thanks for the reply, sadly this means I can't just let my dog out and have to take him out on a leash. Didn't want to post the pic directly since it's so big but thank you for posting it
It is best that domestic pets such as dogs and cats not be allowed outside unattended anyway.
BUT. Toads are only going to be active when temps and humidity are good for toads, so sunny, hot days should be fine for doggy.

when on earth did the cane toad change its name from Bufo to Anaxyrus or whatever? I'm a lumper when it comes to binomials so I'll stick to Bufo until I'm persuaded.
