Can anyone help me with my iguana? When I open his cage he runs off, he won't sit still for anything, he tail whips hen I get close, and I keep getting non-stop claws to the face (when i move it he just does it again). It's driving me insane, Can someone help?

I had a skittish one years ago.I just made handling time a time to give her something she loved to eat.It worked over time but just regular calm handling is key to keeping them relatively tame.

It might be to hot at handeling time. If its under a heat lamp,thats not a good time. Vic Morgan
