lifespan of veiled chameleons

Hi everyone. I'm just trying to get a consensus on the lifespan of captive veiled chameleons. I have always read that it ranges between 4 and 7 years, but I have been told up to 15 even 20 years for captives. Can anyone shed some light on this? How old are your veileds?
