Some new pics

curtis9980 Jun 07, 2010 09:49 PM

Here's a picture of how my Eastern's side of the BTE (box turtle enclosure) is looking after I planted three new hostas this spring. I also have clover fern, Japanese painted fern, a heuchera, and a wood fern that may or may not have shown up in this pic. And then here are two pics of the Eastern juvies getting a soaking after on their first day up from hibernation this year.

I have been thinking lately, I would love to replace the landscape timbers with COR-TEN steel, but I hear it's really expensive. So probably the only other upgrade I will be doing is installing a misting system fairly soon.

Looks good.........both the enclosure and the boxies!!
I happen to like Hosta a lot, and have them in my turtle enclosure as well as excessively throughout my yard.
