Hey John, welcome to the land of legs.

Can you tell me a bit more about the alligator lizards? I am not at all familiar with them other than they are pretty cool looking.

These Abronia Graminea are from Mexico....Since I have lots of Mexican kingsnakes they fit right in over here....They require lower temps much like my Montane and Mexican Kingsnakes.

These alligator lizards are live bearing too.....

There is a breeding facility in Mexico that imports a small number every year, but some are illegaly brought into the country as well.....

Fabulous photos and great website! Does anybody bread the Mexican Alligator Lizards? Is it legal in the US? Their scale pattern and coloration is extremely interesting and beautiful.

Whoops! I don't want any breaded lizards...really! (my keyboard doesn't know how to spell. LOL)

Gorgeous! Is he at all tame?

>>Gorgeous! Is he at all tame?

Thanks Maureen.....
He is slightly tame, but his bite hurts like heck.....LOL
I guess he could become more friendly but he will be used as a breeder as most of my reptiles are.....Hardly any of them are "pets".....
