So these two snakes have really been catching my eye lately. They both were good looking hatchlings, but have really developed into some stunning youngsters so far.

This one is Toulouse, a 2008 female that I bought a while back. Here she is when I got her:

And here she is today:

This male is one I produced last year, and was one of the last ones left for sale. Because of his awesome development, he has now become a holdback. Here is a picture of him after his first shed:

I wanted to get nice photos of him today, but he ate yesterday I I didn't want to disturb him too much. Even though these pictures aren't the best and don't show the color quite right, they are pretty close and you can get an idea of how he has changed:

Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Very nice Aubrey....
That male has turned in to a stunning cream yellow.....
Strange how they lightened up....
Usually thayeri ontogenesis causes them to darken with speckling.....

Thanks John! Yeah, I have noticed that they tend to get duller or more speckled as they grow, so that is why these two are amazing me so much! Hopefully they stay this way into adulthood!

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Aubrey, and congratulations on having such a good eye for potential. The color changes are no less than astounding. If I were you I'd want to keep those genes circulating in your collection! Good luck with them.

Thank you Tom! They each have a different white parent, though they are not siblings or even half-siblings... perhaps they should meet someday!
