Pro heat vs RBI

blueta Jun 24, 2010 11:53 AM

I am going to purchase a PVC cage that comes with an RBI radiant heat panel. There is a choice to upgrade to the Pro-Heat panel too. Is it worth the upgrade? A message from Bob from pro heat stated that his are the only ones made to go on the inside of the cage without risk of damage or fire. So, what's everyone's personal views? If the pro heat is that much better I can spend the extra $$ on one.

I like pro-heat best.
none of mine have failed in 10 years.
the others work great also but do not have
a small light to tell you when the unit is on
and have a bigger lip that allows ETBs and chondros to
wrap around at times. I believe either is safe if used with
a good thermostat. I have both.
