Veiled with swollen eye

danish72 Jun 24, 2010 12:45 PM

Hi, I just got a young Veiled, and she has a swollen eye. She can see out of it. Looks like trauma to me. Anything I can do for her?

Thank you!

I'd suggest having a vet look at the eye with a scope to determine if there was in fact an injury. An ocular antibiotic may be needed and that will need a prescription. Best to be safe!

How long have you had her?
What brand and type (spiral, compact, linear tube) UVB light do you use?

We rescued her on Tuesday, we are using a linear tube for UVB lighting.

Thank you..

What kind and type (compact, spiral, long linear) UVB light did the people you rescued it from use?
