Update on 2010 Angolans!

bhmorrill Jun 26, 2010 12:42 AM

The second clutch is out now, and both clutches have shed. Ended up hatching out 16/16, but one ended up having deformities and didn't last long. So, 15 healthy little beaded beauties was what I ended up with. I am very happy with that. But the very best part was ALL 15 took a rat pink on the first offering!!! I don't think I have ever had 15 for 15 of any species take a meal on the first offering. Man do I love this species!

Anyway, below is a pic of the second clutch hatching, 3 post shed from the second clutch, and a few select individual pics of some of the kids. These guys are harder for me to get pics of than carpets...but maybe that is just because I have lots more experience taking pics of carpets. These guys seem to never get tired of trying to climb out of whatever I have them in to take pics of them. With carpets I can eventually get them into a defensive position, but these guys just keep going and going. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

They sure look nice! I always love seeing pictures of hatched angolans; just imagine when the first morphs start popping up!
