Rain FINALLY!

curtis9980 Jun 28, 2010 08:34 PM

After eight weeks, that's right, two months without rain, it is finally steadily raining here. I just put the boxies up for the night and they were loving it. All three were swimming in their ponds. It was easy to find them to put them up tonight. Keep coming rain, my flowerbeds and the turtles need you!

We had a teaser storm blow through here last evening. Great light show but not much rain, so we'll the month under average. We've had record heat here too, so this has been hard to take.

Why do you need the rains specifically Steph. Why is this really important in terms of special reasons other than the norm?...thanks

I’ve just read all three posts and can’t make rhyme or reason. Generally posts flow together or feed of one another. I can’t find a connection. One person got rain and the next acknowledged the rain and the third wants to know why one needs the rains specifically. Why is this really important in terms of special reasons other than the norm?... How does the last part refer to the first part. Just trying to understand what I missed.

Thanks Alan

I don't know about others, but I posted about rain because it's pretty important for my turtles outside to get some rain and we hadn't had rain in more than two months. Which made me have to water their enclosure every day. I just love when it rains for the turtles. They all come out and go swimming or look for worms or snails. It was just a topical post about a little thing going on with my turtles.
