Clear underscales

Void Jul 02, 2010 02:17 PM

So I just got two baby dumerils today and they both are great. Neither struck as they were taking out the box. The female was a bit nervous but calmed down quickly and the male was calm and sweet from the start. Well apon looking the male over I noticed a patch of clear scales under his head. Is that normal to have that? Ill try to get pix up soon. Can't do it now cause I'm using my Droid phone and this site isn't mobile friendly when it comes to uploading pix

Congratulations on picking up a pair of Dumerils Boas. Like PBM said, the scales are normal. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your new snakes.

Oh good Lord! With names like those... do you do any outreach? Those names could be difficult to explain away!

Good looking boas! Congratulations!
