Tortoise keepers in...

Tortoise keepers in TEXAS, can you guys add anything to my recent Ornate Box Turtle question on the Box Turtle Forum? You seem so knowledgeable, experienced, and well connected.
Hope to meet some of you soon. I have a few tortoises myself, and would like to acquire more in the future. They are my first reptile love.

Here are 4 Berlandier's Tortoises from far South Texas, collected in the 1960's, along with a Redfoot Tortoise. The two old male Berlandier's were of record size. Their shells were a uniform horn coloration.
