Introducing new females....

PhunkeyPhish Jul 11, 2010 09:12 PM

Now I know my leo (1 year) is a girl I am looking to get a couple more females (1-2 years age, one at a time). Plan is to get a 20 long and eventually have 3 or 4 females. How difficult is it to safely introduce a females to each other? Should I expect fighting?

Not sure about aggression, but I personally think a 20L isn't big enough for that many geckos. I used to keep a breeding pair in a 20L, I think 3 is pushing it I wouldn't cram 4 in that tank.

Sorry I couldn't answer your other question, though. Good luck with them and hopefully someone else will jump in and help.
