"Who cares whether it's a ball python or a Martian Mud Sucker. It's still a snake that doesn't belong here and is destroying our ecological system. There are good snakes and bad snakes furthur classified as dead snakes and live snakes."

That was just dumb. The photo of Ball Pythons originally identified as Boa constrictors. And Ball Pythons do not get large, so what do they have to do with it. Could have shown a Vine Snake. Makes as much sense.

Reading stuff like that really frustrates me.

Why do people who are uneducated on a topic, such as this, choose to write about in something like the Smithsonian! I just don't get it.

They have such a twisted/distorted knowledge base about my favorite critters on the planet. Shame on them!
